Motivation

The Peerage (Q21401824) is a genealogical website compiled by Darryl Lundy, and identifies over 600K people. It is reasonably accurate, and there would be synergy with genealogics.org person ID (P1819), WikiTree person ID (P2949) and WeRelate person ID (P4159); also with the smaller Kindred Britain ID (P3051). In this area it is important to have multiple independently-researched sources. The Peerage gives references for much of its content, to hard copy authorities, and also to online discussions and email communications. There are quite a number of portraits. The site is deprecated on enWP under a referencing guideline on "self-published" content, but is in use on other Wikipedias. Charles Matthews (talk) 17:45, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

Comment Can we also use the surname identifier, for example Laval (Q23072571)i2218.htm#s30171? Sic19 (talk) 11:51, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
