Hi @Emu, thank you for the clarification and your addition of the Smithsonian Magazine (Q3487014) article as described by source (P1343). I think that one possible way to model the relationship between the two entities is to utilise territory overlaps (P3179) (or partially coincident with (P1382)), and opposed to part of (P361)/has part(s) (P527), given that (1) according to a 2015 Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge (Q7700624) brochure, "[m]uch of the Refuge is made up of what was historically known as the Singer Tract.."[1] (see also another PDF file uploaded to Commons: File:The Singer Tract and the “Last Stand” for the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker.pdf, (2) the dates of inception greatly differ: the National Wildlife Refuge (Q1410668) was established/designated on 1980-06-28[2], while the bottomland hardwood forest (Q1587173) (the tract) existed prior to this date, and (3) the tract is distinct from other parts, e.g., Judd Brake Unit and Fool River Unit. Additionally, a source for coordinates from Macaulay Library (Q3332600): macaulaylibrary.org/asset/487447. Lastly, this item contains the statement facet of (P1269) James T.
