- Discounting my own vote, there is clear consensus here that John should be promoted to adminship. Legoktm (talk) 17:57, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- John F. Lewis (talk • contribs • new items • new lexemes • SUL • Block log • User rights log • User rights • xtools)
Hello folks, I am presenting John F. Lewis for adminship. John F. Lewis is an accountcreator, reviewer and rollbacker on the English Wikipedia and has both autopatrolled and rollbacker rights here. Not only is John experienced here but if I have counted correctly, he has nominated over 5,000 pages for deletion, many of which I have deleted. John has a strong knowledge of policies, guidelines, and how Wikidata works. I trust that John will use the tools for the benefit of the community and I hope you do as well. -- Cheers, Riley 00:35, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Co nomination by Hahc21
Hey folks! I am delighted to co-nominate John. He has been working on Wikidata since almost a month ago and his focus has been, from the start, on maintenance. As Riley said, John has gathered thousands of items to delete (most of them not logged at RFD to avoid collapsing that page), and has a good grasp of how this website works. — ΛΧΣ21 00:43, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: I thank both of you for the nomination and accept. If anyone has questions, I will be happy to answer. John F. Lewis (talk) 00:47, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support I will disclaim that I first suggested the idea of adminship for John. It was too early back then but I think the time has now come.--Jasper Deng (talk) 01:19, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Later. Thanks for helping clean up duplicate items. I would like to see more experience with other features of Wikidata: other than a sensible set of requests on User talk:Legobot/properties.js/requests, it seems you didn't add any statements to Wikidata. -- Docu at 18:46, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral – John F. Lewis may have a good knowledge of Wikidata as the nominator says, but I cannot see it clearly from his contributions. The contributions seems fine though, but I think this is a bit early as he is a contributor for less than one month. Keep up the good work, and I will probably support later. -- Byrial (talk) 11:23, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]Question: Hi, I see in your contributions that you have requested deletion of many duplicate items, but you have only edited English labels and descriptions as far as I can see. Didn't really any of the duplicate items have labels and descriptions in other languages which should have been moved? Byrial (talk) 11:38, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- If assume correctly, I believe in my first few deletion requests (around first five) I failed to check if labels and descriptions for other languages did exist. From there I did check if there were any labels or descriptions that did need moving. A few did exist however when I checked the duplicated item they were present. I believe I moved a few English descriptions from item to item before requesting the deletion. John F. Lewis (talk) 14:33, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- As a note, if I ever do come across foreign labels or descriptions, I will add the to the appropriate item after confirming they are correct. I do speak a few other languages one of which I hope to start contributing in the near future. John F. Lewis (talk) 14:36, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
