Book[edit]

Is it possible to use this for number of publishment of a book? --Juandev (talk) 03:06, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nerozumím poznámce[edit]

Proč by entita s číslem, měla mít i "publikováno v"? Pokud udáváme číslo časopisu, ten přeci není nikde publikován. --Juandev (talk) 08:09, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An entity with issue (P433) should also have a statement part of the series (P179)?[edit]

@Ivan_A._Krestinin: is this a generally agreed upon change? I'm not entirely sure the constraint is a valid requirement I may be wrong. Trilotat (talk) 15:32, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Trilotat: You are correct, it's not a valid constraint. A scholarly article (Q13442814), or similar work, is published in a particular issue of a scientific journal (Q5633421) or other serial/periodical. The periodical issue is part of some journal volume; while part of the series (P179) is used to link together a series or collection of creative works or events. As of this writing, there are 31917119 "Item part of the series (P179)" violations. I will remove the constraint. ⚊⚊ DCflyer (talk) 10:14, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
