reference URL (P854) or Wikimedia import URL (P4656)[edit]

    Disallow Wikidata URLs[edit]

Is there a meaningful use of this with Wikidata URLs? I just fixed these. We should fix the regex to stop this. --- Jura 09:44, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It’s used by a lot of properties to link to property proposal pages. I think this use is legitimate, but links to the main namespace don’t seem to be acceptable ever. What about excluding only mainspace links? —Tacsipacsi (talk) 22:46, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, Krbot uses it to indicate how statements are inferred (sample). Forgot about that. That is actually useful. Maybe a complex constraint checking for the absence of inferred from (P3452) could to work. --- Jura 09:09, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That tends to time out: [1], but finds some odd stuff. --- Jura 09:43, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    (Non-Wikimedia) import URL?[edit]

what if I imported something automatically from a html document with a url? I know I could use reference URL (P854) but that implies that the information was hand-picked by somebody and can be verified by looking at the website (which might not be the case, when the information was imported from hidden metadata). should there be a generic Import URL property? WikiProject Schemas has more than 50 participants and couldn't be pinged. Please post on the WikiProject's talk page instead. --Loominade (talk) 12:10, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple format constraint violations not reported[edit]

Here we don’t see anything about The Accidental Spy (Q77950154) which wasn’t edited for months. What is wrong with updater? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 07:45, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
