The confusion is caused by the way these events are referred to in Chinese. In Chinese, both the Mukden Incident and the subsequent Japanese Invasion are sometimes referred to as 九一八事變 ("September 18 Incident"). The Wikipedia page is describing the invasion, but the name makes it sound like the page is described just the initial false flag attack so it was merged incorrectly. Q5370145/柳条湖事件 ("Liutiaohu Incident", Liutiaohu being the Shenyang suburb near where the false flag attack happened) is the page that actually describes the Mukden Incident/Q242099. The problem happens within the said Qs in the realm of the Spanish Wikipedia. This problem has arisen during work we are performing within the completion of the 10,000 articles every Wikipedia should have. Currently Q1139762 english language article link is to the "Empire Kanem-Bonu" article, and Q1537016 english language article link is to the "Empire Kanem" article. BUT in fact in english Wikipedia "Empire Kanem" is just a REDIRECTION to the article "Empire Kanem-Bonu" The problem happens when I try to replicate the same model of links that work in English wikipedia within the Spanish wikipedia. Currently Q1139762 spanish language article link is to the "Imperio Kanem-Bonu" article, and for Q1537016 there is no link provided to an Spanish language article. I have created a spanish article called "Imperio Kanem" (that is the official name of Q1537016), and in it just placed a REDIRECT to the Spanish article "Imperio Kanem-Bonu", the problem is that when I try to provide a link for Q1537016 to a spanish wikipedia article it would reject the insertion of the article "Imperio Kanem" !! It is not clear to me whether those are actually two different entities or not. Someone on Talk:Augustine Volcano mentions "The volcano is the island, there isn't anything more to it", so either it's true, or I'm not the only one confused here. In any case, I can't get the French version to link to the English one as is, because they each have only one page, but not the same. Should the Wikipedia articles be merged? The Walloon name is a neologism borrowed from the French name. The word "cervoise" comes from late Latin "ceruesia", which could come from Celtic (attested) "curmi", the name of the same product (source: Pierre Yves Lambert). The French article is focused on linguistics and has poor encyclopedic information (this should be noted as a banner). The Walloon article adds some info, quoting a Belgian historian. I think those two articles should have an other data name. Hi, and welcome!

Q89191604 and Q89196914 are both school unit (Q88965416) (a term defined in legislation the Swedish school law (Q10670463)) of the same school Q89784788. The latter object (which is an instance of (P31) primary school (Q9842)) is what we outside of the school system would think of as the school. Statistics collected by Statistics Sweden (Q1472511) is on school unit level. The website for the school gives a clue that the different units here is not only a thing authorities care about, the different units have different principals.

I would say that this is modelled the same way other schools in Sweden are in Wikidata. I have added Q89196914 as has part(s) (P527) in Q89784788 though since that was missing.

The big problem with Swedish schools in Wikidata is, in my view, instances where schools and buildings are conflated and the same object is instance of (P31) of both

school (Q3914) (or a sub-class thereof) and building (Q41176) (or a sub-class), e.g. Vasaskolan (Q19564170). This is usually because the Wikipedia article is writing about both the building and the school in the same article. That gets really confusing when a school has moved or several schools have occupied the same building over the years.

Hello, Not quite sure I'm doing it right with this report, I have looked into Help:Merge but I've never done a Wikidata edit and don't want to perform a wrong edit. The Q4269394 Wikidata article links to Wikipedia articles about Volvo F series trucks in 9 languages, but not in French. The Q25380912 Wikidata article links to a a stub Wikipedia article in French about "Volvo série F" trucks, but does not link to any other language. At first I discovered the French stub. Puzzled by the "no other language" mention, I searched and found the English article. Then I wanted to add an interlanguage link from the French article. It is reported that in 1778, Monsieur de Longueval in Avranches, Manche, France found a pear chance seedling which turned out to be excellent. According to reports it was first named Bonne de Longueval or Bonne d'Avranches, but then Monsieur de Longueval dedicated it to his wife Louise renaming the variety to Louise-Bonne d'Avranches. I don't know whether or not he was aware of the variety Louise Bonne from the century before and thought that the suffix "d'Avranches" would separate it clearly enough from the old Louise Bonne. But his pear was much more successful and over the years, unaware of the old, true Louise Bonne, nurseries dropped the suffix. The variety was especially successful in German speaking regions where it is known as Gute Luise - no suffix. Obviously, this led to the wrong Wikidata sitelink to Louise Bonne (Q1557109) instead of Bonne Louise d'Avranches (Q20730585) at https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gute_Luise. I tried to fix this by deleting the wrong sitelink and then - this was my plan - adding the correct sitelink. But that did not work. At the deletion attempt I received a warning, and then there was no control on the page allowing to add a sitelink. Did I miss the procedure for ordinary users to move the sitelink to another Wikidata entity? How can the Wikidata sitelink be moved from Q1557109 to Q20730585 for German (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gute_Luise) and for Nederlands (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonne_Louise_d%27Avranches), but not for Francais (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louise_Bonne is about the original Louise Bonne and sitelinks to Q1557109 correctly)? The Wikidata item Louise Bonne (Q1557109), https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q1557109, is a mess in itself. It's image section points to Peer 'Bonne Louise d'Avranches' (Pyrus communis).jpg which must be removed. Also the taxon name Pyrus communis ‘Gute Luise’ seems wrong. The International Cultivar Registration Authority (ICRA) responsible for all "Woody plant genera, excluding those genera or other groups for which other ICRAs have been appointed" and with that for the genus Pyrus is the American Public Gardens Association (APGA, see https://www.ishs.org/sci/icralist/3.htm). I am not aware that they would publish an index of all accepted variety names, unfortunately. Their publishing medium is HortScience (https://ashs.org/page/hortscience). Following Google's indexation of ashs.org, there is no single page or PDF file containing "Luise" other than irrelevant ones referring to the author Luise Ehrich writing about South African Iridaceae or a 'Konigin Luise' rose cultivar (see https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aashs.org+Luise+-South-African-Iridaceae+-Konigin-Luise). But there is extensive mentioning of "Bonne Louise" and "Louise Bonne" with and without the suffix "d'Avranches". Usually the first name published is the accepted name and will not be changed without reason. According to Wilhelm Lauche: Deutsche Pomologie. Birnen. Parey, Berlin 1882–1883 this would be "Louise- Bonne d'Avranches". Maybe the APGA has interpunctuation rules for variety names and put it "Louise-Bonne d'Avranches" or "Louise - Bonne d'Avranches" or "Louise Bonne d'Avranches", but nothing else. Accordingly the synonym (Also known as) "Gute Luise von Avranches" would need to be removed from Q1557109, but could be added to Q20730585. At Q20730585, "Gute Luise" would be an acceptable German synonym, but not the accepted name, as "Gute Luise" is how the variety is widely known in the German speaking regions where it is still cultivated. The fr.wiki article (was pointed to by Q3143149 until a few minutes ago) only describes the French branch of Humanity in Action, which credibly exists legally as a French citizens' association, but is clearly de facto strongly associated with the international group, with exactly the same website. The fr article has no independent sources, but would very likely be viable if someone did the work to do that and considered whether to expand it to the global organisation + the French group. In any case, right now, the fr.wiki article only covers the Fr group, while the en.wiki article (pointed to by Q9294919 until a few minutes ago) is about the international group. The topic for the franchise now has three articles, English, French, and Spanish, while the topic for the game itself has articles in Russian, Italian, and Turkish. I propose that they be merged, as the topics do not feel distinct enough to be seperated, and most of the articles, notably the Italian one, get into detail about the rest of the franchise.
